We have been very lucky in the UK to have a national stadium that is recognised the world over as one of the greatest stadiums in the world. Both in its old incarnation (Old-Wembley) and now in its new form. This forum is aimed at providing a centralised place for discussion, memories, chat or questions on the Wembley Stadium and any of the events that have taken place in it or will in the future.
If like me you are a fan of the UK's National Stadium, you will I hope find a lot of interesting reading here. If you are attending an event but are unsure of something, please post your question here, there will always be someone that will know the answer for you.

This was a great day out for the people from Totton (I guess Truro as well as they won :) ).

15,000+ fans travelled to Wembley Stadium on coach, car, donkey , anything that would get them to the hallowed ground. Although only 28,000 were in the ground the atmosphere was electric and once the game started the weather (which was not great) did not matter (wembley is designed so the rain actually only fell on the pitch).

Truro won 3-1 but Totton did go 1-0 ahead and to be honest should have been futher ahead in my mind at half time but only managed to go in at 1-1. A few early missed chances in the second half gave truro the opertunity to win and they took it well.

Like I said a great day out for the whole family (me, wife, 3 kids, my brother and my dad).

What was the date please ?
12th June 1987. I walked up the stairs heading towards the pitch. First Wembley gig, U2.
"Jesus, look at all those bloody people!"

Never really felt the same rush since.
